Soo... once the new Ortlieb mini-O bag colors became available, I swapped out my white Ortlieb mini-O for a red one. The color match is pretty much right on. I had initially thought about a yellow one, but I think the colors flow better with the red. And it's still a great bag!
Looks great. I am considering one, as a first step towards carrying less stuff. I carry too much in my T-Bag.
ReplyDeletePeace :)
Thanks! Great to hear from you Chandra!
DeleteWow, that red really pops -- it's perfect on your Brompton! Brompton (the company) told me they wouldn't be making any Mini Os in classic colors, but that red is both classic and flash -- great choice.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Hmm... I remember that there's a candy apple green, a yellow and a smurf blue also available in the Mini O, and I thought that they matched the Brompton colors pretty well.
DeleteRacing Green is the specific color we asked after, and which got the response from Brompton. I'm not exactly sure what Brompton's definition of "classic colours" is, but it obviously includes racing green!
DeleteOf course, there's an all-black, too, which I'd consider pretty classic . . . anyway, can't really complain about the choices, as there are many, and all good-looking.
what did you mean by 'swapped out'? did you trade in the white one to get a red one?
ReplyDeleteYes, I traded in the old one (plus a little cash) for the red one. Vain, I know, but I couldn't help myself!
Deletei love it! your bike looks super snazzy! what is the red thing on the handlebar stem? is there a close up pic of it?
