Unfortunately, Jeff Guida's ShareRoller Kickstarter campaign was unsuccessful. However, Jeff was able to secure funding from another source and is going ahead with production. He published a website dedicated to the ShareRoller at:
http://www.shareroller.com/
If you are interested in pre-ordering, you can do so on this site. The basic range (12-mile) battery unit is going for $1095 and the extended range (20 miles) for $1395. Those of you who pledged on Kickstarter should have gotten a message with a special link to pre-order at the original Kickstarter price for a limited time.

ShareRoller is live on Kickstarter
ShareRoller, the electric drive motor from the previous post, is now live. Here is the link to check it out:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/247419341/shareroller-first-portable-motor-for-share-bikes-a?ref=live
The kickstarter page has a video where you can check out the video of the ShareRoller. It's kinda hard to wrap your head around this product until you see it in action. You'll also see a lot more pictures of it on the shared bikes, the Xootr scooter, and of course a Brompton.
I asked Jeff if the Brompton adapter will cost extra. He said they will be since each one will be 3D printed, and would probably cost about $95 unless there is demand for a lot of them. If there is a lot of demand, he can have them made, which would make them cheaper.
